Ted Austin Benefit - Civitan Fair Grounds
This Saturday , April 19th, there will be a "Gospel Benefit Show" for Ted Austin. Ted is the brother of a member of our class, Robin Davis. Admission is free but donations are encouraged and accepted. Proceeds will go to help Ted offset extensive medical cost associate with his fight with cancer. Many artists from across Georgia and local talent from Dublin churches and organizations will be donating their talents from 2:00 -7:00 PM. A variety of music will be performed. Please make checks payable to "Ted Austin Benefit." Donations can be mailed to New Bethel Baptist Church here in Dublin.

Children's Rally - Jefferson Street Baptist Church
Some may be in a quandry since our own church is sponsoring a Children's Rally on the same day. Not to worry - the time slots are such that you can do both. The rally is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Click on the name McCart Ministries to learn more about this ministry. The focus is for children.....but are'nt we all children at heart- right?

Danny, Thanks for posting this information in such a timely manner. I hope that each of you will attend at some point during the day, but it would be so great to introduce my biological family to my church family and enjoy seeing you all as a group. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs for sale, home-made cakes auctioned, and many lots of good gospel music and fellowship. You are all welcome to sing, as well.
